Sarah is a master of "the phrase that pays" and netWORTHING™ is a very apt word to describe what so many seem to have forgotten is the key to successful networking -- RELATIONSHIPS.

What's the best way to create successful relationships? Well, if you are truly perfecting your connecting and have listened to Sarah at all, you know she'd agree with John Maxwell: "If you desire to succeed, then live by these four simple words: add value to others. That philosophy will take you far." Thanks for the reminder.

Listen to Sarah,

She knows networking. Our world is the online world and it's remarkable how most all blogs are puff-blogs and me-blogs, touting what the writer has done. Blather!! Put on your reporter's hat and write about someone else. It's not about you - it's about them.

Same with LinkedIn - look for the area where people are asking questions - and give them an answer. Also, do a great job of linking other people - don't just ask to be linked. It's not about you on LinkedIn.

And, I could go on - don't Twitter about yourself - tell them something they don't know, can use immediately or will entertain or make them laugh. Twitter is not about you - it's about them.

Listen to Sarah - she knows networking - and her advice works online just as much as in person.
