Pain Relief for Making Work Relationships Work® Would you like better communication between your physicians, nurses, and other members of your health care team? As our interdisciplinary teams become more diverse, and we are asked to interact more frequently with coworkers, patients, case managers, family member, and others, it becomes ever more important to excel at getting along well with all types of individuals. The first step is in understanding yourself and your own preferences and style, and the second step is in understanding the diversity and preferences of those you work with.

We will work with several models including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ® (MBTI), the most widely used personality assessment instrument, in helping you understand how we are different. Increasing your self awareness is the key to better self management.

Next, we will explore how we are alike in terms of our core values and needs through exploration of the Four Temperaments to help you quickly and effectively understand what motivates you and your healthcare team members and how we can meet those needs in the workplace.

Lastly, we will establish a "common language" with the team by mapping out the interaction styles of each of the members. Understanding our agenda behind our communication and how we influence others is critical to creating a productive and efficient work team, resulting in more efficient, cost-effective and compassionate patient care.

This program provides a highly interactive and humorous environment, including hands-on real life exercises, which provide a great opportunity to learn about yourself and your coworkers.

Length of Program: This is typically a full day (6-7 hours) but can be customized to client's needs. A material fee is charged per person for the administration, scoring and 4 color printed 5 page reports of the online personality assessments used. Other educational materials and workbooks are typically included in this fee.
